Review by hotel critic
During my recent New Year escape to the Cliffs of Moher Hotel, I found myself in a picturesque setting that perfectly complements the rugged beauty of the surrounding landscape. Nestled in the charming fishing village of Liscannor, this hotel serves as an ideal base for exploring both the Cliffs of Moher and the enchanting Burren region, just a stone's throw away. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a delightful drink that set the tone for our cozy stay. The room itself was tastefully decorated, spacious, and offered stunning views that reminded me of the artistic landscapes I often capture through my lens. While breakfast wasn't a full spread, the light offerings of pastries, coffee, and tea were perfect for fueling our adventures. The atmosphere was vibrant with live music, making our dinners at the Gastrobar feel uniquely Irish, and the focus on locally sourced ingredients was something I, as a foodie, truly appreciated. I was particularly taken by the warmth of the staff, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. As a landscape photographer, I couldn't have asked for a better backdrop; a short 3-mile drive brought us to the unforgettable Cliffs, and moments like those remind me why I travel. For anyone seeking a blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Irish charm, the Cliffs of Moher Hotel is a gem worth visiting. I left wishing I could linger longer in this stunning corner of Ireland, with my camera and heart full of inspiration!
